Back from Lieden, new project and forthcoming conferences

Hello,

I had a very enjoyable few days with colleagues at the Computational Ethnomusicology workshop, University of Lieden, Netherlands earlier this month. I'm looking forward to working with new collaborators across the EU in the coming months developing some exciting new projects together.

A few other pieces of news, firstly two upcoming conference papers, one at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, discussing a new application for BCI technology to neuro-curatorship in collaboration with Imperial College London and Paignton Zoo, and the other as part of the BCMI-MIdAS project discussing a case study of use by an individual with Huntington's Disease. Details of both are on the publications page of my site now.

Finally, I was fortunate enough to visit Arup's SoundLab facility in Manchester last week (shown above), working towards a new collaborative project with them. I hope to be able to release more details of this soon, but for now, thanks for visiting!

Cheers,

Duncan
