A quick update on what's been going on. As well as moving house (again), there are now some promo clips out and about for Alexis Kirke's Many Worlds movie which I have been doing a bit of work for, on the biosensing/tech side. The film premieres as part of the Algoshorts film festival, at the Peninsula Arts Contemporary Music Festival this February. A sneaky peak of the technology is up on youtube, and should be embedded below if I've got this right:
In other news, one of my lectures to the Stephen F Austin State University of Texas has been uploaded as part of their SFASYou podcast series of lectures, with a nice write-up from one of the attendees, too. You can listen/read about it here.
Finally, the CD that I recorded and edited for the Reading Phoenix Choir last summer has now been released and is available here. The disc includes twelve choral works, some completely new arrangements and some old favourites including music by Elgar, Strauss, Barber, and Holst. You can listen to some extracts online on the choirs own website, or the iTunes pages too.
That is about it for now. Expect another update around the Contemporary Music Festival in about a month or so!
Thanks for visiting, Duncan
